Real French Vinaigrette Recipe
This is a delicious Vinaigrette that's super easy to make.
Ingredients
- 3-4 tbsp good olive oil
- 1 tbsp of minced shallot
- 1/2 tsp Good Dijon mustard (Maille)
- 1 tbsp sherry or red wine vinegar
- 1/4 tsp salt
Preparation
- Throw the shallot in a large serving bowl with the vinegar and salt, let it sit to marinate for at least a few minutes. This important step will make sure the shallot flavor is very present in the dressing.
- Add the mustard and most of the oil. Whisk it together, taste, add the extra olive oil if it's too harsh tasting.
- Add the greens and mix well before bringing to the table.

- You can always adjust this to taste if you feel like it.
